
Dr. Anna Offit
Dr. Anna Offit is an Assistant Professor of Law at Southern Methodist University (SMU). Before joining the faculty there, she received her Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University, her M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, her J.D. from Georgetown University, and her PHD. (in anthropology) also from Princeton University. Her areas of expertise include Criminal Law, Legal Ethics, and Comparative Law, among many others. She has numerous published works in journals, books, and online sources, including works that have been published in the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, the U.C. Irvine Law Review, and the Northwestern University Law Review. A couple of her achievements include winning a Graduate Prize Fellowship from the Princeton University Center for Human Values, and receiving a Fulbright grant to study the jury system in Norway.
