2 For Tuesday, Except it's 1 Blog, not 2 (10/19)

Happy Tuesday! This week marks the start of the second marking period, which means that the rigor of this course is going to start to increase. Once again I will need to be very focused on time management, and my plan for that is to make use of my planner. Once I have planned out when specifically I will be working on each thing, I will be in good shape.

As of now my plan for original work is to create a bank of information that can be used for advocacy work. However, I'm not completely sure that's what I want to do. I do want to have some sort of impact on advocacy because that is a great way for me to make an impact in my field. I plan to discuss with my mentor what her thoughts are and possibly with some of my peers who are also involved in the field of law.

After my last meeting with my mentor, I will be continuing with comparative law (which I didn't originally plan on). I also will be focusing on the effect that mental health has on victimization and what effect that has on the rate of recidivism. Looking into solely mental health would be effective, but this will allow me to get further into this topic.
