A Blog? Not on a Sunday?? (10/12)

Once again I will need to be focused and manage my time. I have lots of assignments due this week, and not tons of time to do it, which is part of the reason this blog is pretty much 3 days behind. I have already started to plan out my time, and because of the PSAT taking place tomorrow (10/13).

Last Thursday we attended the Business Symposium. I really enjoyed the opportunity to network with other ISM students, however, I feel that as an ISM 2 student I didn't get as much out of it.

This past weekend I had my first meeting with my mentor for the year. We discussed some possible topic choices or more specific topics to go into. One that she recommended looking into was the effect of sexual victimization of inmates affects the rate of recidivism compared. Another suggestion was to look into mental health courts. She mentioned in both topics continuing with comparing the processes to Norway. I honestly didn't plan on continuing with comparative law, but after our discussion, I think that I will as it provides a good basis to look off of.

I just have to push to the end of this week and focus on what I want to do for my original work, and I'll be set for marking period 2.
