Happy November! (11/2)

And somehow it's November already. This past week I focused a lot on the sexual victimization of those with mental illnesses, and found out a lot about the Prison Rape Elimination Act (or PREA). I plan to continue looking more into it because while steps will be taken to support inmates who are abused, it doesn't seem to recognize that inmates might not speak up in the first place. I will keep looking into this problem, and expand on it.

This week in class we are working towards a research speech (for in class). I am excited to be able to showcase the work I am starting on. I find it all very interesting, and I'm also looking forward to being able to get feedback from my peers and instructor. I want to focus on the flow and diction that I use in my speech. I am fairly confident with the information itself, so I know I will be able to convey the information itself. However, I know that I can improve on my professionalism and the way everything goes together.
