Having successful vocational programs is another key way to meet the goals of the model since it is proven that inmates who go through some form of vocational training have a lower rate of recidivism.

Programs should include:

- Auto Mechanics

- HVAC-R

- Plumbing

- Carpentry

- Cosmetology

Because education will be so highly encouraged, the vocational programs will take the place of a trade school. So if an inmate would like to work in Plumbing after they are released, they will do a vocational course rather than an online version of a trade school so that they can get more hands-on experience.
