In this model, many types of counseling and therapy will be utilized, in order to meet the goal of rehabilitation. Ideally there are multiple counselors that specialize in multiple fields of therapy.

Types of counseling include:

- Individual Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

- Individual Humanistic Therapy

- Group Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Other than these types of counseling, ideas of other types of therapy will be worked into other programs in the facility

Such as:

- Music Therapy

- Horticultural Therapy

- Bibliotherapy

Therapy will be required while in a facility that is part of the rehabilitation model. However, inmates will have a choice in if they would rather do individual or group therapy, and in what type of therapy they would like to do (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy vs. Humanistic Therapy). If the inmate is not responding to their therapy they will meet with their contact officer to make a plan.

Inmates will also be able to be medicated if their therapist reccomends it. They will be able to meet with the psychiatrist who works at te facility full time, and can be reccomended to a specialist if need be.
