EMPLOYEES

Many of the issues with dehumanization in prisons come from the roles of guards and wardens in the prison. To remedy this issue those in positions of power will need more training in areas like de-escalation and psychology. Whoever is overseeing the prison needs to have a background in the field of social work, psychology, sociology, or something similar, not a background with law enforcement. This is so that they can truly have an understanding of how to create an environment for inmates that is conducive to rehabilitation and growth, not punishment

There will be many positions available in many different areas in this model so that the facility can run efficiently and accomplish its goals.

Positions include (but are not necessarily limited to):

- Principal (essentially the position of the warden)

- Correctional Officers

- Teachers

- Medical Professionals

- Counselors/Psychologists
